Curator Sayesha Sachdev talks about the Fashion Intensive
The Fashion Intensive is focused on the three main aspects of fashion industry relevant today:
Research is key to your design thought and process. Use the streets of the fashion capitals, the museums, people and culture as a starting point, and go on to develop your own ideas into concepts. Explore a range of textiles, international craftsmanship and innovation in design. You will be expected to push your ideas to expand and explore what is possible through the design process.
Gain knowledge and experience of the key factors needed to run a successful fashion business. Understand the various fashion markets, design a tight business plan, learn about public relations and marketing, among other fields. This intensive will essentially teach you through experience and practical work with thoughtfully designed workshops and activities run by our industry experts.
How does the fashion industry work? This immersive tour will enable creators to understand how to promote fashion. Various mediums used to communicate fashion - journalism, photography, styling, blogging, social media and more, come together as one force to sell your concept.

"Live by design, not by default." As a core member of the team who created over 100 episodes of the show “South Park”, I’ve worked as a creative in TV, Film and won two Emmys. As owner and creative director of Nice Studios, I’ve worked with major advertising agencies like M&C Saatchi and 360i, and worked directly with major brands like Ben & Jerry’s, Coca-Cola, and Hillshire Farms to name a few. Now I’m turning my expertise and passion to helping other founders succeed. My mission is to bring creativity, passion and purpose and help people express themselves while growing and thriving in their work.

I feel so lucky I was a part of this because I had never imagined how I can improve in a month as a person. I love all my friends I made here and Rishabh and Sayesha. I can’t thank Gil enough to make me bring out my vision because that sort of gave me direction and I wanna keep learning, keep growing and yes I have too changed as a person and of course in a better way thank you Questerra.
Being true to yourself was what you taught me as a team. I can’t thank you enough for letting me tag along. If I write anymore I’ll cry. But thank your whole team including Sonakshi and Ankit for dealing with our tantrums. We’re a family now! So much Love!
I came into this very closed minded and I’ve left a very different person. Definitely one of the best experiences of my life.
Questerra has been the mould that I didn't even know that I was looking for. Sayesha and Rishabh thank you for being my career fairy godmother’s you’ll did much more than what you had to, you’ll have been friends, guides, confidants and more. More love and power to you both. P.S Please tell Sonakshi she is such a rock-star for standing like the strong unseen foundation! So thank You!
In Short I learnt a lot more in this one month than I did in 4 years of college thank you for bringing travel, Fashion & business all in the same package.
Loved it! Changed my life! I’ll never be the same again.
A small loving and growing family. That’s it you'll be receiving a long email soon haha.
This was my first experience with a travel company in India, after I moved here as an exchange student in Christ University, we had a lot of fun while learning various details about our subject of Art and History. We enjoyed the trip especially the manner in which the details were explained and everybody in our group of 30 was involved, Will do it again!
Fun and learning went hand in hand on out tours, we were amazed to see some fantastic companies and how the businesses are run in China. Eye openers were port operation near Guangzhou and some really huge industrial setup witnessed around China. Definitely well planned.
I’m an aspiring businessman, and wanted some serious business knowledge across industries, and thus signed up with Questerra on one of their Chinese business tours. The market knowledge, penetration into industrial areas and wholesale market of Shanghai and Wenzhou were an eye opener for me. Established contact and my first container arrived after 6 months of that trip! Thank You.
